Thank you for contacting Worcestershire County Council.  Your request for information 
has now been considered and some of the information you have asked for is provided.   
 
1.  I would like to know the number of ‘looked after children’ cared for by 
Worcestershire County Council as of June 15, 2018.

situated outside the boundary of Worcestershire as of June 15, 2018.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to fully meet this part of your request.  This is 
because the information is exempt from disclosure under Section 40(2)(3)(a)(i) of 
the Freedom of Information Act. This exemption applies to information that is the 
personal data of living individuals. We consider this information comprises 
personal data as defined by the Data Protection Act because the level of detail 
may potentially lead to the identification of individuals due to the small number of 
individuals in some locations.
