Dear Ms O’Keefe
Freedom of Information Request 600522 – Internal Review
Thank you for your email of 28 June 2018 in which you requested that the City Council
undertake an Internal Review of the above information request. For purposes of clarity and
context, your original request and our accompanying responses are summarised below as
follows –
“I wish to ask the following FOI
outline -[ I made a complaint via Ms. Jeanette McLoughin re Mayor Anderson using
council stationary to make a personal complaint to the football association in January
2018
The complaint was acknowledged by Ms. McLoughlin - I have sent many many
prompts to Ms. McLoughlin to ask why my complaint has not been processed - she
told me I was not being ignored but to date, I have not received a reply]
My FOI question is: how many complaints from the public re Mayor Anderson are
ignored and not process by the city solicitor/monitoring officer/Ms. McLoughlin
I require a full and transparent answer as to why the complaints are ignored and not
processed.”
Original Liverpool City Council Response –
“Liverpool City Council would advise that every complaint received is considered under
the relevant complaint process and were valid progressed. Complainants are advised
of the outcome for each complaint at the conclusion of the relevant complaints
process. Therefore, and to confirm, no complaint is ignored.”
Internal Review
The basis upon which you have requested an Internal Review be undertaken was as follows
–
“1. My complaint has been ignored for 6 months.
2. LCC is out of the legal time frame for both my complaint and the response to this
FOI.”
