Uniform Policy

Aims Our policy for children’s school uniform is based on the belief that a school uniform:
● promotes a sense of pride in the school
● engenders a feeling of community and belonging
● is practical and smart
● identifies the children with the school
● makes children feel equal to their peers in terms of appearance
● has been designed with health and safety in mind.
Our colours are blue, grey and white and the uniform is as fol ows: Boys
● School blue sweatshirt with school logo or blue jumper without logo
● School white polo shirt with school logo or white shirt
● School blue book bag with school logo
● Grey trousers or grey shorts
Girls
● School blue sweatshirt with school logo or blue jumper without logo
● School blue sweat cardigan with school logo or blue cardigan without logo
● School white polo shirt with school logo or white blouse
● School blue book bag with school logo
● Grey skirt, grey trousers or grey pinafore dress (with zip front)
● Blue gingham dresses may be worn in the summer term
For PE al children need
● School white t-shirt with school logo
● School blue gym bag with school logo
● School black PE shorts or black tight leggings
● A pair of trainers and a tracksuit for outdoor P.E.
Optional items
● School blue cap with school logo
Jewel ery
On health and safety grounds we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school except for watches and stud earrings.
Make up and Cosmetics
Make up and nail varnish are not considered appropriate for primary age children. The school does not permit these
products to be worn by children unless there is a specific event for which the Head has given permission.
Al clothing and footwear should be clearly label ed with your child’s name
