You asked us: I understand that the council has gone live with a new adult social care system
(Mosaic) following a 4 year implementation process.
Q1: Are you using the inbuilt finance functionality in Mosaic, or are you using
Abacus to deliver finance functions? If both, please state this.
Q2: Please provide the total expenditure above the initial bid price for children's
and adult social care, including finance. (For example, if the tender price was
£100 but you also paid external consultants £50 and bought £20 of optional
modules or additional functionality, then the additional cost would be £70).
Q3: On which date did the council first pay ASC providers using Mosaic?
The first pay run from Mosaic was 13/02/2018, this was for Direct Payment precipitants.
The first payment run for Invoices Services paying providers was run on 28/02/2018.
Q4: On which date did the council first complete a financial assessment using
Financial assessments will not be completed using Mosaic, as we have retained the
Abacus system to deal with all financial assessments and charging.
