Dear Mr Waldron
Freedom of Information Request reference: 46119
Thank you for your e-mail of 8th November 2017, in which you asked the following:
What travel for the Independent Anti Slavery Commissioner has been paid for by other
Government agencies or organisations (e.g. police authorities, the Gangmasters and
Labour Abuse Authority, etc.) sponsored by the Home Office or any other Government
department?
Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.
The Home Office does not hold information about travel expenses that police authorities
(Police and Crime Commissioners) or the Gangmasters Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA)
may have paid on behalf of the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner.
You may wish to contact Police and Crime Commissioners and the GLAA directly to
ascertain if they hold the information you are seeking.
If you are dissatisfied with this response you may request an independent internal review
of our handling of your request by submitting a complaint within two months to
xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx.xx, quoting reference
46119. If you ask for an internal
review, it would be helpful if you could say why you are dissatisfied with the response.
As part of any internal review the Department's handling of your information request would
be reassessed by staff who were not involved in providing you with this response. If you
were to remain dissatisfied after an internal review, you would have a right of complaint to
the Information Commissioner as established by section 50 of the FOIA.
Yours sincerely
Modern Slavery Unit
