Dear Mrs McYarnington
Freedom of Information Act 2000
Thank you for your recent Freedom of Information request. You asked to be provided with the
following information:
Can I please request documents including emails related to Westminster City Council's application for
Transport for London Local Implementation Plan funding, including details of items for which funding
was awarded and items for which funding was not awarded, for the most recent year such documents
and emails are available?
Response
Please find enclosed two emailed attachments that outline:
-
The Council’s bid to TfL for the current year City of Westminster 2017/18 Local
Implementation Plan (LIP) ‘Corridors, Neighbourhoods and Supporting Measures’
Programme, dated 27.10.16. This consists of a cover letter to TfL and a supporting ‘Proforma
A’ form that outlines the detail of the ‘Corridors and Neighbourhoods’ and ‘Local Transport
Fund’ programmes
and
-
TfL’s approval letter to the above full programme, dated 16.12.16.
Please note:
-
That the ‘Corridors and Neighbourhoods’ Programme allocation was fully supported by TfL
-
As was the ‘Local Transport Fund’ allocation
-
And there was variation in the settlement for ‘Principle Road Maintenance’, which is not
unusual, and with regard to
-
The ‘Major Schemes’ programme the TfL agreed granted settlement amounts were lower
than the bids, which again is not unusual. Also regarding the letter content it is advised that a
administrative error prevailed that was immediately acknowledged by TfL in that the
allocations for Bond Street and Baker Street were accidentally switched. A position which was
later amended to read Bond Street £720,000 and Baker Street £1,300,000.”
Names and contact information have been redacted by virtue of Section 40 (2) of the Freedom of
