The response provided below is correct as of 9 August 2017
Suffolk Constabulary has considered your request for information and the response is below.
Please note that the Print room / reprographics are internal services and therefore there is no
contract. The following information relates to the Photocopiers/MFD and Printers.
1. The Constabulary’s current printing and photocopier contract details is as follows:
• Photocopiers/MFD - Konica
• Printers - Utilises CCS Framework Agreement RM3733 for spot buys or mini competitions

2. The companies awarded the contract were as follows:
• Photocopiers/MFDs - Konica Minolta
• Printers - Various resellers as detailed under CCS Framework stated above http://ccs-
agreements.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/contracts/rm3733
3. The length of the contracts are as follows:
• Photocopiers/MFDs 02/06/2014– 31/01/2020
• Printers 31/10/2016 – 30/10/2018
4. The number of devices are as follows:
• Photocopiers/MFDs - 147
• Printers - 169
5. The Annual print/copy volume is as follows:
• Photocopiers/MFDs – 6,143,237 averaged over a 5 year period
• Printers – The information is not held
6. The Annual expenditure is as follows:
• Photocopiers/MFDs - £209,394
• Printers – This information is not held. Printer purchase are included within the overall
department hardware spend, which is not listed as separate line items.
7. The contracts were procured as follows:
• Photocopiers/MFDs – ESPO Framework
• Printers - ESPO 272D
8. The Constabulary’s print management software is Inepro.
9. There is no scanning software.
10. The Constabulary utilises TranSearch and SharePoint document management solutions.
11. The Constabulary utilises Adobe Acrobat PDF software and has 103 licences.
12. The person responsible for the MFDs is the Head of ICT Operations, James Park. His email

13. Print consumables/supplies are procured via the call off contract let through Devon and
Cornwall Constabulary
14. The approximate annual spend on print consumables is £3,500 p.a.
15. The Constabulary’s call off contract was let by mini competition against CCS RM3703
