Dear Mr Gallagher
Re:
Freedom of Information Act 2000
CAMHS Transformation Money
Thank you for your information request indicated in bold below, which has now been considered under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 by NHS Vale Royal Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), and I am able
to provide you with the following information and responses.
You asked:
How much CAMHS transformation money have you received from NHSE in year:
2015 /2016, 2016/2017, 2017/2018
Please find below the information for each of the years NHS Vale Royal CCG has received funding from
NHS England for CAMHS Transformation:-
2015/2016
The CCG received £139,824 as a separate allocation from NHS England.
2016/2017
There was no separate allocation for CAMHS Transformation in 2016/2017. However the
CCG set aside £140,000 for Children and Young People (CYP) Mental Health services in
our baseline for 2016/2017.
2017/2018
We are unable to provide this information as our Indicative allocations for CYP
transformation for 2017/2018 have yet to be approved by NHS England.
In addition to CAMHS transformation funding how much were you spending on CAMHS across
each of the years?
NHS Vale Royal CCG does not hold this information as all services commissioned are provided under a
block contract.
What have you spent the CAMHS transformation on in each of the years?
Please see the attached spreadsheet for the answer to this question.
Are you making any cuts in CAMHS funding in 2017/2018.
As NHS England have not confirmed indicative allocations for CYP transformation for 2017/2018 and our
financial plans for 2017/2018 have not yet been approved by NHS England, the CCG is unable to provide
this information.
Can you please attach your CAMHS transformation plan?
Please find attached the CAMHS Transformation plan for NHS Vale Royal CCG.
