I write in connection with your request for information received on 20th April 2017, I note you seek access to the following 
information: 
 
1)What Finance system do you use for Finance management? 
2)What system do you use for Planning and Budgeting? 
3)Which vendor/System Integrator (SI) implemented your current Finance System? 
4)Who is your current Finance system support partner? 
5)When is the contract for the current Finance System expiring? 
6)Are you planning to renew your current finance System or tender for a new system upon expiry? 
7)If tender, when are you planning to publish for a tender? 
8)Which framework do you use for procurement? 
9)Are you planning to join a Shared Service in the next 1-2 years? 
10)Are you planning to collaborate/join with another Police Force in the next 1-2 years? 
 
I am required by the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) to handle all requests in a manner that is blind to the 
identity of the requestor. Any information released in response to a request is regarded as being published and therefore, 
in the public domain without caveat. 
 
Following enquiries within the Constabulary please find the response to your query below. 
 
1)            Currently SAGE Line 50, moving to Advanced E-fin in next 6 months.  
2)            Advanced E-fin 
3)            K3FDS (Sage) Advanced (E-fin) 
4)            K3FDS (Sage) 
5)            30/09/2017 (Sage)  
6)            We have awarded a contract for a new Finance System with Advanced – Efin, contracted to 2021 through a 
tender in 2015. 
7)            N/A 
8)            For the award of contract to Advanced we used RM1042 
9) & 10)  Not at this stage, however Hertfordshire have long standing collaboration arrangements with Bedfordshire and 
Cambridgeshire.
