3 Cottage Road Fire safety information

We're waiting for L Hayes to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear London Fire Commissioner (London Fire Brigade),

Please could you provide the following formation held regarding 3 Cottage Road N7 8TP which is a purpose built flat block in Islington with insulated render and timber cladding:

1. Please provide any firesafety assessment conducted by yourselves, third parties or the freeholder Newlon housing.
2. Please provide any information held regarding the construction including specifications for the insulation/render/cladding, or any elements that are associated with enhanced risk of fire spread or flammability, or that may lead to an outcome B on EWS form.
3. Please provide any information on additional provisions that must be made in regards to the construction elements highlighted in point 2.

Thank you for your Freedom of information submitted on 5^th October 2020
in regards to Fire Safety information for 3 cottage road.

 

In response to your request, Our Fire Safety Team have provided the
information below:

 

I can confirm that our records show we completed an audit at 3 cottage
road on the 16/12/2019. The results of this audit confirmed no significant
failure to comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005
(RRO) was found and as a result the premises was deemed broadly compliant.
This means that no enforcement action (informal or formal) was required
and no notices were issued.

 

I hope you find what has been provided of use, should you require further
information please do not hesitate to contact me.

 

This request has been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. If you are dissatisfied by this response you can request an internal
