Dear Jim

FOI Reference: 925958

Thank you for your request for information about 3 Bed Housing Needs. Your
request was received on 16 November 2020 and is being dealt with under the
terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

We will aim to provide a response to your request within the statutory
timescale of 20 working days, by 14 December 2020, however, we would ask
for and would appreciate your understanding and patience, where this is
not possible at the present time.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the Council’s resources have being
refocussed to prioritise protection and support of the people and
businesses of Plymouth, and the continuity of our essential services. This
means that in the meantime, there will be less staff available to assist
with your request. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our response will be sent by email or hard copy depending on how you made
your request and how the information is held.

If we’re unable to gather the information you’ve asked for within the cost
limit set by the government, which is 18 hours of staff time or £450, we
will contact you to discuss how we can meet your information needs within
this limit.

FOI People, Plymouth City Council

Dear Jim,

Further to my earlier email, unfortunately your application does not
clearly state what you expect to receive from the Council. Please help us
to understand your request so that we can locate the relevant information.

You have requested the date each household was registered with Devon Home
Choice.  The date someone registered on the system could be misleading, as
banding can change over time, or an application could be suspended and
then reactivated. If you wish to know how long each household has been
waiting, the Band start date may be a better indication.

Please confirm which date you would like to know. Alternatively, if you
have a specific question, please let us know so we can provide you with
useful information.

Your application is ‘on hold’ and will not be processed until we
understand which information is required.

When we are clear about the data or information that you expect to receive
the Council will seek to provide the information that you have requested
within the following 20 working days, or let you know how you can obtain
it.

We may not be able to provide all you have requested; if we do not hold
the information, or if an exemption or exception to providing the
information applies.  We will explain if we cannot provide what you have
requested.

Information is usually provided free of charge, but if there could be a
fee, we will tell you about any charge before we retrieve the information.

We usually provide the information in either electronic or paper format,
depending on how you made your request and how the information is held.
If you would like our response to be in a particular format then please
let me know, but there may be a charge.

If you have any questions concerning information requests then please look
at the Council’s web pages:

or contact me using the details above.  If I am unavailable please leave a
contact telephone number.

Yours sincerely
