Dear Ms Musa
Thank you for your email of 03 January to the FOI Requests inbox regarding leaving the
United Kingdom (UK) on Tier 4, coming back in as a tourist/visitor. It has been passed to
me to reply.
When you arrive at UK passport control you will be required to present to a Border Force
officer a valid passport which verifies your identity, nationality and UK immigration status.
When you return to the UK from Poland and seek entry at the border as a visitor
presenting your Malaysian passport the officer will undertake various checks on your
immigration profile and may ask you some questions regarding the purpose and duration
of your visit. Based on the information the officer has obtained they will decide whether or
not to grant you entry as a visitor.
It is not possible to pre-empt the officer's decision.
