Please can you provide me with an up to date org chart for education. This is to
include SEN, School Improvement, School Place Planning, Director, Heads of and
We have processed this request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Response

Names of Heads of Service and above have been provided as this information would
be available in the public domain and in the public interest.
With regard to individuals not listed, we consider that the absolute exemption set out
in Section 40 (Personal information) subsection 2 applies to the information
requested. Therefore, we have decided to withhold the information in line with
council policy as this constitutes the personal data of ‘non-senior’ officers. In our
view such individuals would not reasonably expect their personal details to be
publicised under the FOIA and to do so without their consent would constitute ‘unfair
processing’ under the first data protection principle in the Data Protection Act 1998.
In these circumstances we are entitled to refuse to disclose this information under
the exemption in section 40(2) of the FOIA. For guidance on this and other
