31,000 Concentrix reviews in which no mandatory reconsideration was requested

The request was partially successful.

Dear HM Revenue and Customs,

I would like to request information concerning the outcome of the 31,000 reviews undertaken by HMRC following the collapse of the Concentrix contract in 2016. These reviews were undertaken in 2017 following a recommendation of the Commons Work and Pensions Committee as mentioned in the Treasury minutes (CM 9505, October 2017) at page 33 paras 2.2 and 2.4.

I would like to have the information concerning the outcome of those 31,000 reviews. How many were allowed and dismissed?

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Thomas

Dear Mr Thomas,

Freedom of Information Act 2000 Acknowledgement

Thank you for your communication of 13th September which has been passed
to HMRC's Freedom of Information Team.

We have allocated the above reference which you should quote if you need
to contact us.

The Team will arrange for a reply to be sent to you which will either
comply with HMRC's obligations under Freedom of Information Act or, if we
think it's an enquiry that we don't need to address under the terms of the
Act, let you know why. If it is the latter we will, if possible, pass it
on to a more appropriate part of the Department for answer.

Yours sincerely

HMRC Freedom of Information Act Team
