Dear Bob

Thank you for your request for information and your recent reminder. Please accept my sincere apologies for the slight delay in responding to you. This was due to an oversight on my part (I believed a response had already been emailed to you) and I appreciate that as a result, KCC has failed to comply with statutory timescales on this occasion.

Chris Bailey was employed by KCC as a sessional Independent reviewing officer (we advised you of her employment details in our response to a previous request

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/independant_social_worker#incoming-448144) but has since retired.

Kent County Council does not hold any information relating to Ms Bailey’s role as an Independent Social Worker which she may be undertaking privately or for another organisation or authority therefore we cannot answer your four questions.

If you are unhappy with this response, and believe KCC has not complied with legislation, please ask for a review by following our complaints process; details can be found at this link http://www.kent.gov.uk/about-the-council/contact-us/complaints-and-feedback  on our website. Please quote reference FOI/14/2252.

If you still remain dissatisfied following an internal review, you can appeal to the Information Commissioner, who oversees compliance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Details of what you need to do, should you wish to pursue this course of action, are available from the Information Commissioner’s website http://ico.org.uk/concerns

Best regards
