It was last updated in June 2015. Parents were notified in our newsletter and
asked if they would like to comment. Teacher s and staff were notified in a staff
inset and governors perused the document and approved it in a Governor’s
meeting.
3. What is taught in SRE in your school?
See attached policy.
4. At what age do you start teaching SRE?
Start teaching at age 7.

BBC films in year 5 and 6. All of our resources are provided by Camden’s PSHE
department and include worksheets and SMART presentations with pictures.

All parents are invited to attend a meeting before we teach RSE. This is held after
school and they are given an opportunity to look at the resources and SMART
presentations we will use with children (letter included).

Approximately 2 to 3 weeks, dates vary in different year groups.

morning or afternoon) when SRE lessons will be delivered?
They are informed of the half term it will be taught in by letter and at a meeting.

If a child is withdrawn they work with the opposite class and teachers rotate RSE
lessons.
