I refer to your request for information received on 26th January 2015
concerning vehicles movements to and from Viridor Beddington Energy
Your questions have been answered below. Q.1 Please could I have a breakdown of the number of trucks/vehicles
per day that will be going to the Viridor Beddington Energy Recovery
The Transport Assessment submitted by the Viridor as part of the
planning application provided an estimate of 666 daily two way trips (all
vehicles) to and from the site. The Transport Assessment can be found

Ash will be removed from Beddington Farmlands through 26 daily two-
way vehicle movements. For more information please see Table 5-26

Q.3 What will be the size of trucks/serving the above?
The vehicles transporting ash from Beddington Farmlands will have a
20 tonne payload. Q.4 How far will the trucks be travelling?
The distance the vehicles transporting ash from Beddington Farmlands
will depend on the end uses for the ash. Therefore, this information can
not be provided at this stage. Q.5 How much diesel is required to run the Viridor Beddington Energy
The London Borough of Sutton does not hold this information. The
information can be ascertained but not within the FOI timeframe.
The information regarding how much diesel is required to run the Viridor
Beddington Energy Recovery Facility has been requested and will be
forwarded to you when available.
