Thank you for your email seeking clarification. You asked me clarify what I meant by the following:

I have assumed that each of the 225 Basic disclosure applications was made in respect of posts that were vacant or for some other purpose. I will revise this part of my request to:

"Specify the number of the 225 Basic disclosure applications made in respect of vacant posts (it may be all of them?).

Of the disclosure applications made in respect of vacant posts, please provide the job titles concerned together with the number of Basic disclosure applications made in respect of each identified job title.

If some Basic disclosure applications were made for reasons unrelated to vacant posts, please provide information that explains why they were made."

Attached spreadsheet shows the positions for the checks undertaken. Checks
are undertaken on appointment (New) or at 3 yearly (renewal) intervals if
the person is still in the position. There were 206 checks undertaken for
new appointees. There were 20 renewal checks for people still in the
position requiring a basic check after 3 years.

 

-Please note that there are 226 rather than 225 applications.
