Dear Yearsley Grove Primary School,
Unfortunately, your response concerns me about the safety of the children in your care.
You would appear not to have procedures for the event of an armed intruder. For example, if an event such as Dunblane occurred at your school, what are staff trained to do? Just keep teaching while a man is shooting?
I feel that as there is not appropriate procedures in place, you're in direct contravention of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Yours sincerely,
John Buck
