Information Compliance, King's College London

Dear Mohammed Ateeque Chowdhury,

Thank you for your email. We have treated your request for information as a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, received by the university on 15th September 2022.

Please find our response below:

Detailed admissions data such as UCAT scores will be published on the KCL Admissions section of the College’s public website by the end of October 2022 as part of an annual admissions publication (please check for updates here: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/aboutkings/orgstru...), it has therefore been withheld under Section 22 of the (‘future publication’).

As the College has now an established process for making the requested dataset available, it is not in the public interest to bypass this solely to comply with your request as this would require public resources to be diverted from other Admissions activities which benefit the public more; such as supporting current and prospective students through the application process.

On this occasion then the university finds the public interest favours withholding the information.

This completes the university’s response to your information request.

Kind Regards,
