We have now considered your information request as set out below. 

 

You asked:

 

1. How many complaints you received from people who did not receive their
postal vote in time, or not at all?

2. How many postal votes were sent out for Merton by ward?

3. How many postal votes were returned?

4. How many postal votes were rejected?

 

1. Two complaints were received via the complaints department from people
who did not receive their postal vote in time.

2. Postal votes were not issued by ward but by constituency. 9116 postal
votes were issued for Mitcham and Morden constituency, and 12,943 postal
votes were issued for Wimbledon constituency.

3. 7471 postal votes were returned for Mitcham and Morden constituency,
and 11,356 postal votes were returned for Wimbledon constituency.

4. 181 postal votes were rejected for Mitcham and Morden constituency, and
162 postal votes were rejected for Wimbledon constituency.
