FOI response template
Dear Ms Soady,
Re: Freedom of Information Act Request ref: LBH/6776017
Thank you for your request for information received on 06 November 2017,
in which you asked for the following information:
How many HHSRS surveys were completed in the borough 2016/2017?
Then from the above inspections -
How many category 1 hazards were identified?
How many improvement notices were served?
How many hazard awareness notices were served?
How many prohibition notices were served?
How many hazard awareness notices were served?
How many prosecutions were made?
My response is as follows:
· How many HHSRS surveys were completed in the borough 2016/2017?
April 2016 – April 2017 = 98 surveys were undertaken, (181 individual
assessments were carried out on 17 hazards)
Then from the above inspections -
· How many category 1 hazards were identified?
April 2016 – April 2017 = 101
· How many improvement notices were served?
April 2016 – April 2017 = 11
· How many hazard awareness notices were served?
April 2016 – April 2017 = As a hazard awareness notice is just in the form
of a letter we do not record these as a separate category of warning
letter on our data system so I cannot give you a
figure for this unfortunately.
· How many prohibition notices were served?
April 2016 – April 2017 = 6
· How many hazard awareness notices were served?
April 2016 – April 2017 = As a hazard awareness notice is just in the form
of a letter we do not record these as a separate category of warning
letter on our data system so I cannot give you a
figure for this unfortunately.
· How many prosecutions were made?
April 2016 – April 2017 = 2 ( these cases relate to prosecution in
relation to failings under Part 1 as this is what the rest of your
question relate to, other prosecutions have been taken )
If you are unhappy with how we have responded to your request you can ask
us to conduct an Internal Review. If so, please contact the Feedback and
Information Team as below. (Please note you should do this within two
months of receiving this response.)
