Dear Board of Trustees of the Science Museum,

I would like to make a FOI request with regards to your online ticket sales.
Could you please inform me what number of tickets have the Science Museums Group sold for the past financial year and what percentage of that is online?

Yours faithfully,

Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you for your email.
Your enquiry has been received by our Corporate Information and Enquiries
Officer and will be dealt with as described below:

we wish to proceed with your offer, we will contact you within 6 weeks of

that, on this occasion, we are unable to accept your generous offer.

Freedom of Information (SCM), Science Museum Group

Dear Alena,

Thank you for your enquiry dated 19th March 2014.

The Science Museum Group museums are national museums and therefore
entrance to each site is free and no ticket is purchased. We do,
however, sell tickets for many of our activities including the IMAX
cinema, special events, exhibitions and even (in some cases) for the
cloakroom. The work to collate this information could be considerable
and so, in order to assist us in responding to your enquiry with the
appropriate information we should be very grateful if you would provide
us with further detail as to the types of tickets you are interested in.

As I am sure you are aware, the 20 day deadline for response under the
FOI Act is effectively paused until we receive a response from you to
this question.

Thank you.

Kind regards

Rory Cook
