Dear Mr/Ms Langford,

RE: 2013 GCSE Results %A*-A
Thank you for your request for information, which was received on 4 July 2014. Reference
number: 2014/00477022. Your request is as follows:

Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request:
A complete list of all the schools which you hold data for and the percent of all the 2013
GCSE grades that were either an A or A* for each school in England.

I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act”).

The 2013 Performance Tables underlying data, which displays school level information in
specific qualifications and subjects by grades is available at the link below

[1]http://www.education.gov.uk/schools/perf...

Please click on the “KS4 qualification and subject data” link in the middle of the page,
then open the “ZIP” file and then the “EXCEL” file. Please click on the
“GCSE_Certificates_1” and “GCSE_Certificates_2” tabs, which contain a school-level breakdown
by institution type, qualification, subject and GCSE grade. You can work out the percentages
for the A* - A grade for the subjects which are not suppressed.
