2013 accident data for M66, lanchasire
Dear Department for Transport,
I am led to understand that national accident reports are produced during the Autumn of every year. However, regarding the M66, which is a part of the scheme to switch out street light from Walmersly to Simister Island to I am informed by a representative of a-one+, that these reports are to be examined in early 2013, whereupon a discussion will take place as to the effectiveness of the scheme.
I would like to request, should the reports be available at this point, for copies of them. Failing that I would like to ask when you expect this data to be available.
I would also request data concerning the carbon emissions savings, if any - along with the financial savings of the 24/7 switch off.
Yours faithfully,
Ian O'Brien
