Dear Nottingham City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Nottingham City Council's handling of my FOI request '2011/12 Budget consultation & Strategic Choices'.
[

This request is now way overdue and I have yet to receive any update despite several phone calls to the office.

Could you ensure you include specific reasons for the delay and subsequent lack of contact regarding this request

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

I will of course log your request for an internal review and pass all relevant paperwork to Mrs Stephanie Pearson as the responsible party for reviews.

Please quote case reference IGO/11-8880 when referring to the review in future. Thank you again for your email and again apologies for the inconvenience this delay has caused you.

That'll be a clerical error then.

Dear Information Governance,

IGO/11-8880

Thank you for your acknowledgement of my request for an internal review, i trust the prompt response will be dealt with within the legal timescale of 20 days.

Could you please clarify what you mean by "a number of varying circumstances". From my phone conversations I understood that it was simply a case of the relevant department not providing the requested information within the legal timescale. Could you please confirm if this is the reason or give other reasons that may have led to the delay. Please give an indication of the specific actions the authority is taking to ensure it is better able to deal with FOI requests within the timescales as required by law.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Rodgers
