That'll be a clerical error then.

Dear Information Governance,

IGO/11-8880

Thank you for your acknowledgement of my request for an internal review, i trust the prompt response will be dealt with within the legal timescale of 20 days.

Could you please clarify what you mean by "a number of varying circumstances". From my phone conversations I understood that it was simply a case of the relevant department not providing the requested information within the legal timescale. Could you please confirm if this is the reason or give other reasons that may have led to the delay. Please give an indication of the specific actions the authority is taking to ensure it is better able to deal with FOI requests within the timescales as required by law.

Yours sincerely,

Ben Rodgers

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email below. It is my pleasure to attach the full and final response to your initial request. Delays were caused due to the issue you state in your email below as well as some administrative errors within this office and other parts of the authority. I am personally reviewing the way in which I communicate caseload information to other departments and am always seeking improvement in my own work. I understand that Ms Pearson will address any other actions being taken in her response to your request for internal review.

Sincerely,
