2007 Elliott Survey Interpretation

The request was partially successful.

Dear Sheffield City Council,

Did Nick Hetherington interpret the 2007 Elliott survey into the 2008
'Highway Maintenance PFI Project Outline Business Case to the Department
for Transport'?

Was he responsible for the following wording on Pg 16?

"Although all essential safety work identified from the survey has been or
will be undertaken by the Council prior to the start of the Project, a
large proportion of the mature and over-mature trees (75% of the stock)
are now ready for replacement with younger trees of a more appropriate
species for use on the highway. This should help to reduce the incidence
of tree root damage to footways and private property"

Yours faithfully,
Dr Shetty MRCVS
