Thank you for your e-mail of 15th Of April 2014, in which you ask for:
1. In such case, which department deals with this type of fraud?
2. How is the fraud investigated?
3. What is the role of the police?
4. What policy and procedure in place to investigate such complaints?
Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.
Our records show that you have already written to us on 09 January 2014 requesting
substantially similar information in relation to “corruption and fraud” and we sent you a
reply to this request in 9 March 2014 (Reference CR30221). We do not believe that a
reasonable interval has passed since you made your first request and we are therefore not
obliged to comply with your request, under section 14(2) of the Act.
If you are dissatisfied with this response you may request an independent internal review
of our handling of your request by submitting a complaint within two months to the address
below, quoting reference CR31441. If you ask for an internal review, it would be helpful if
you could say why you are dissatisfied with the response.
