Re: female children detained under the Mental Health Act in Birmingham
Thank you for your email dated 1 November 2013 in which you asked how many
female Birmingham residents, aged between 12 or 13 years have been detained
under the Mental Health Act since 1 January 2013 to date.
Your letter has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of
Information (FOI) Act. In accordance with Section 1(1)(a) of the Act I can confirm that
Public Health England (PHE) does not hold this information.
Section 16 of the FOI Act places a responsibility upon public authorities to provide
