17th Edition electrical course attendance
Dear University of Dundee,
With regards the Electricians employed by the University of Dundee in the Electrical Operations and Electrical Maintenance sections of Estates & Buildings (who had a contract of employment).
1) With regards Electricians employed by the University who have a contract of employment. What was the total number of Electricians employed within the Electrical Operations Section and Electrical Maintenance Section of Estates & Buildings in June of 2010?
2) With regards Electricians employed by the University who have a contract of employment. How many Electricians within the Electrical Operations Section and Electrical Maintenance Section of Estates & Buildings attended the 17th Edition Electrical regulations update course prior to 18th June 2010?
3) With regards Electricians employed by the University who have a contract of employment. How many Electricians within the Electrical Operations Section and Electrical Maintenance Section of Estates & Buildings attended the 17th Edition Electrical regulations update course since 18th June 2010?

However, I had also made a similar request to Dundee College and they have since confirmed that prior to June 2010 the University of Dundee paid for 10 of their Electricians to attended the 17th Edition Electrical Regulations course. I assume that there will have been a genuine mix up somewhere along the line and that there will be a simple explanation for this discrepancy. As such I would be grateful if you could look into the matter and provide clarification for this which may also require you to amend some of the responses that you have already provided.

Dear Mr Gibson,
Further to your request for clarification, colleagues have confirmed that
eight electricians attended the course you specify and that the
University's response was accurate in respect of your question. However,
two electrical coordinators also attended the course during that period,
which I believe accounts for the discrepancy you raise.
