Dear Mr Buchan,
Re: Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 – Request for Information
Thank you for your email which was received by the University on 11 September 2009 timed
07:21, requesting the following information:
a.
What are the success criteria for the student lifecycle project?
b.
For each of the success criteria, please send me details of when each will be
materialised and how the success will be measured?
c.
Has an external and independent body assessed the viability of this project? If so
could I please see the report?
University’s Response
a & b. The University of Glasgow does not hold the information that you have requested and
is not aware of any other public authority that could respond to your request. Section
17 of FOISA states that where public authorities receive requests for information that
they do not hold, they must issue a notice advising that they do not hold the requested
information.
However, the attached paper (Appendix A) presented to the University’s Senior
Management Group in March 2009 sets out the rationale for the Student Lifecycle
Project and includes a discussion of the contribution the project will make to the
achievement of the University’s strategic objectives.
c.
The University has not used an external body to assess the viability of the project.
