To locate the information relevant to your request searches were conducted
within Specialist Crime and Operations.

DECISION

I have today decided to disclose the located information to you in full.

Please find below information pursuant to your request above. Please note
the data has been extracted from MetHR. Anomalies may occur as data is
extracted from different areas of the database. Additionally, data
extracted at different times of the day may cause variations in figures.

1) The number of officers working in Trident

As at 10/09/2013, there were 359 police officers employed by the MPS
Trident Gang Crime Command. There were also 86 police staff within the
Command.

For your additional information, a number of MPS boroughs have dedicated
Gangs Units based locally and there are also specialist staff across the
MPS dedicated to tackling gangs and associated gang crime.

2) Demographic information on police officers working in Trident - a
breakdown by age, gender, race as full as available information allows.
