Dear Mr Johnson,

Thank you for your enquiry. I'm not sure what happened to your previous message sent on April 10th, but unfortunately it did not find its way to the right person. I have added in the requested information below to your bullet points. If this is pertaining to a possible application for September 2019 to our sixth form, please feel free to contact us via [email address]. During term time, you are much more likely to get a speedier response. We break up for the summer holidays July 24th, so please - if any response is necessary - reply by then.

- The number of students in the sixth form aged 16-18 presently enrolled - 148 (75 in Year 12 and 73 in Year 13)

-The breakdown of students in the sixth form aged 16-18 enrolled by qualification, i.e.
- The number of students studying 3 A levels - 43 in year 12, 39 in Year 13
- The number of students studying 4 A levels - 1 in Year 12, 2 in Year 13
- The number of students studying 1 Level 1 BTEC - 0
- The number of students studying 2 Level 1 BTECs - 0
- The number of students studying 1 Level 2 BTEC - 0
- The number of students studying 1 A level and 1 Level 1 BTEC etc, for all combinations of qualifications studied in the sixth form - 0

For the last requests, I'm not sure you have worded these questions correctly. We do not offer any Level 1 or 2 vocational qualifications in sixth form - we are a Level 3 only provider (A Level equivalent). Level 2 is GCSE equivalent and Level 1 is below GCSE equivalent. BTEC refers to the qualification that the Pearson/Edexcel board offer, however, other boards offer similar qualifications. Please could I direct you to visit our website which carries information on what vocational qualifications we currently offer - these will be referred to as BTECs or CTECs (Cambridge Technical - qualifications from the OCR board which are equivalent to BTECs). This can be found in the Post 16 Applications section.

We offer students the opportunity to take 3 courses (or 4 if they have the highest achievement at GCSE), which include A Levels and vocational Level 3 Extended Certificates (equivalent to one A Level). For Business we offer double award course equivalent to 2 A Levels.

From our current Year 12 cohort, we have 43 that study A Levels only, as stated above. However, all students will be on 3 A Level or equivalent courses. We have one student that studies vocational Level 3 courses only, 4 students that have coupled 2 vocational courses with one A Level and 28 students that coupled one vocational course with two A Levels. Numbers in Year 13 are very similar.

Yours sincerely,

Andrew Bakonyvari
Director of Post 16
