Update:
1.
UJ MI Number of Live Jobs - Issues have been raised about the number of live/active
jobs shown in the standard Universal Jobmatch MI Report
“Number of Live Jobs” Ref 02-MI-07.
This report is held in the Jobs and Jobseeker Searches folder.
Users have advised there are discrepancies when deriving the number of live/active jobs
from the standard report when compared to results produced by using the ad hoc
reporting tool
The standard report requirement is as follows:
The MI solution must provide the total number of Jobs that are active/open, of those
posted yesterday, in the last week, 1 fortnight ago, 1 month ago and more than one month
ago, or add in a period as specified by the user to give more flexibility. A Job which is
active/open is still being advertised (i.e. has not passed its closure date) that a jobseeker
can select on UJ.

The report has been developed following the literal meaning of the requirement and needs
to be interpreted and understood in the correct way.
Where a date range is selected in the report, the system will look at the new jobs posted
during that period and will report the number of those new jobs that are still active.
Example - if you select the period 27th January 2013 to 2nd February and there have been
100 new jobs posted during that time, the system will look to see which of those 100 are
still active and that will be the figure returned in your report. So, if 50 are still active that is
the figure you will see in the report. The same principle applies if you request a figure for
a day, a month or any other period.
The report does not provide a snapshot of the total number of live jobs regardless of the
posting date. As this information is required by several areas of DWP, MIART will be
commissioning a new report from Monster.
Until the new report can be delivered by Monster, reliable figures on live/active jobs can
be obtained by using the Ad Hoc MI Reporting Tool.
If you do not have direct access to this tool please try and identify a colleague who does
who will be able to assist you.
When more details are known about the delivery of the new report a further update will be
provided.

Requirements Team inbox at the following e mail address:

2.
Dual Access for Operational Staff - The change we are proposing is the creation of a
new user group which will give access to both employer and jobseeker functionality.
It is proposed that this new user group must be limited and will only be used in the small
number of instances where it is deemed necessary for a member of staff to have access
to both sets of functionality.
The ‘dual access’ requirement is being impacted and is included on a list of changes for a
future release. A further memo will be issued once the implementation date is known
