The outstanding 73 applications are due to them being either void (i.e. error in
submission or a duplicate) or cancelled (i.e. no longer required as not attending) For each of the above, please break down if possible the number of people
who applied by category, e.g. Members/Party Staff, Media, Exhibitors etc.
All figures are for are party 'delegates' i.e. not ancillary staff/venue workforce.
5) Please also supply:
a) The actual or estimated cost of the vetting process.
As the National Accreditation Team hosted by GMP provide the accreditation service
to all of the Conferences, these figures represent the overall cost for all three
Conferences and not just the Conservative Party Conference held in Birmingham.
In addition the figures shown represent the estimated cost as outlined in the initial bid
to the Home Office as we are still reconciling our accounts.
Accreditation IT Support - GMP/WMP/Sussex £415,000
b) The source of funding for this process
The cost of Accreditation is funded by the Home Office.
