Dear Ian Wolf,

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request of 31 May 2012. Please accept our
apologies for the reply being sent out a day late. You asked:

I would like you to disclose copies of the information Action for Employment (A4e) hold for it's
job search tool kit, which you are able to disclose as the Jobsearch information is processed
by A4e on behalf of the DWP and participants can be requested to sign such personal
information disclosure.

"Modules of the job search tool kit offered to Work Programme participants by A4e can be
printed off and there is an option to sign but this is not mandatory; it is at the discretion of the
A4e adviser as to whether they think that they need to obtain a participant’s commitment to
help them structure their jobsearch."

Please disclose information that the consent of the Work Programme participant is needed if
use of the A4e job search tool kit involves disclosure of participant personal data to A4E?

The Department for Work and Pensions does not hold the information that you have
requested.

A4e’s modular jobsearch tool kit offers advice, guidance, and suggested activities towards
moving into employment; copy of the jobsearch tool kit, known as ‘My Passport to Work’ is
attached.
If you have any queries about this letter please contact me quoting the reference number
above.
Yours sincerely,
