Young People and the responsibilities of the University of Dundee for their workplace safety.

S. Grove made this Freedom of Information request to University of Dundee This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear University of Dundee,

With 2018 being the Year of Young People I would like to know which policies and procedures govern the health and safety responsibilities of University of Dundee staff with respect to people who are above the minimum school leaving age (MSLA) but below the age of 18 and working or participating in work experience placements at the university.

Which University of Dundee Policy and Procedure covers the safety considerations (e.g. risk assessments, retention of risk assessments, level of responsibility/managerial experience required for performing the risk assessment) that are applied to people in this MSLA to 18 years old age group and when was this introduced?

Yours faithfully,
S. Grove
