FOI Requests, Ashford Borough Council

Dear Dawn Limbu,

Thank you for your email, Ashford is a borough council and as such social services would fall outside our area of jurisdiction.

I can see that your initial question asked:

1. The number of young asylum seekers, between the ages of 14-25, who were in care or who were care leavers between January 2018 and January 2022

Our auto response indicates the areas we cover and those that we do not, due to the quantity of requests we receive asking for information outside our area of jurisdiction, we spell out in our auto response that requests asking for information outside our area are not processed further. The auto response is our response.

Kent County Council will hold the information being requested.

Kind regards

Freedom of Information team
