You are the only one experiencing problems with Horizon

Gwrthodwyd y cais gan Post Office Limited.

Dear Post Office Limited,
This phrase has been repeatedly used by witnesses under oath at Sir Wynn Williams Inquiry to describe what POL auditors/investigators said to them when ivestigating "Branch Losses".Did POL authorise this expression to be used?Did they insist on it?Did its staff decide independantly to use it?Who had legal oversight of the statements thus produced and fail to notice the potential wrongdoing in telling 800 people"they are the only one?"

Yours faithfully,

John O'Sullivan

Dear [email address],
Thank you for your reply.Given that the terms of the request "are very broad" can I ask who the relevant teams were you liased with?Did they include auditors, contract managers and others who might have used the phrase in question?Perhaps in the first instance you could look at who handled Baljeet Singh Sandhu's case and what advice he was given.Witness statement to Sir Wynn,Helpline para.15

Yours sincerely,

The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) provides helpful guidance on how to request recorded information from public authorities, and you can access this via the following link:

Dear Mr O'Sullivan,

Thank you for your email.

As we explained in our previous email to you, we would be grateful if you could be very clear about the exact information you are requesting, as without that we are unable to carry out the necessary searches. However, it is worth noting that should you make a request for information concerning individuals, we may need to consider relevant FOIA exemptions, such as section 40, relating to personal data.

Kind regards,
Andy Jennings

Dear information.rights,
Thank you for the reply.I am only interested in your use of the phrase"You are the only one having problems with Horizon" and not who specifically you said this too.As the BBC Panorama progranne has named four individuals who had this said to them it would seem to be a good starting place and section 40 need not apply. You could just ask your Auditors/Contract Managers if they ever used this phrase or is that too simple?

Yours sincerely,

john o'sullivan
