I am writing in respect of your recent request for information from
Somerset County Council, which is being dealt with under the provisions of
the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

 

We are unable to process your request, as we require clarification to help
identify the information you have requested.

 

In particular you asked for copies of correspondence between yourselves
and Mr Roger Bush, and between yourselves and the West Somerset Railway
Plc, concerning the possible sale of the freehold of the West Somerset
Railway from SCC to the WSR Plc during the period September 2008 and
December 2012 inclusive.

 

Under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act I am unable to make
assumptions as to what your request may mean.  In this case you have
stated ‘yourselves’.  Could you confirm that you mean Somerset County
Council as a whole or if you are looking for correspondence from specific
Officers or Councillors?  If you are looking for the latter could you
please name these individuals, which will enable us to narrow down our
search and comply with your request as fully as possible.
