Freedom of Information, Bournemouth and Poole College

Dear Chris

Thank you for your email of 15 June requesting information about Workforce
Development.

With regards questions 1. to 8. our response is as follows:

Section 41 of the Freedom of Information Act exempts information (price /
identity) as it was agreed in confidence and that duty of confidentiality
is owed to the other party. Disclosure would be a breach of that
confidence.

Section 43 exempts information which, if disclosed would be likely to
prejudice the commercial interests of any person. It protects not only the
commercial interests of third parties but also the commercial interests of
the College. It is intended to protect the ability of a public body to
obtain goods or services on the best possible commercial terms and to
protect the legitimate commercial interests of its supplier. This is
especially pertinent during a tendering process as any response can be
seen as providing a commercial advantage to one potential supplier. The
information you seek falls into this category.

With regards question 9.
This information is currently published on our website via this link:

If, however, the copyright is identified as belonging to somebody else,
you will need to apply for permission.  For information about how to
