EGD - Freedom of Information, Cornwall Airport Limited

Dear Miss Charlton

Your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000

Thank you for your request dated 01/02/2019

I can confirm that Cornwall Council holds information falling within the
terms of your Freedom of Information request.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act”) obliges the Council to
respond to requests promptly and in any case no later than 20 working days
after receiving your request. However, when we are considering withholding
some or all of the information and a qualified exemption applies to the
information, the public interest test is engaged. When this is the case,
the Act allows for the response time to be extended and a full response
must be provided within such time as is reasonable in all circumstances of
the case, but no more than 40 working days in total from receiving your
request. We do aim to make all decisions within 20 working days where the
public interest test is relevant, but in some cases, as in this instance,
this is unfortunately not possible.

Therefore, we plan to let you have a response by 29/03/19 (day 40).  We
will however aim to respond sooner than this if at all possible.

The specific exemption(s) which are being considered at this time are:
Section 43 Commercial Interests - for some of the questions you have asked
in your request.

If you have any queries about this letter, please do not hesitate to
contact me, remembering to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

If you’re not happy about the outcome of your response, you have the right
to request an Internal Review. This must be done within 40 working days of
the receipt of your response.

If you wish to complain about the way the Council is dealing with your
request, please write to:
