Women's safety and statistics

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, London Councils should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000/the Freedom of Information(Scotland) Act 2002 to request the following information:

1) What support has the council provided with regards to safer streets? and how much money have they applied for?

2) How many people are employed by the council to protect women and girls in Harrow?

3) What has the council done to make Harrow safer in the past 24 months for women and girls; especially since the Sarah Everard media coverage?

4) What preventative measures are planned for the next 24 months?

5) How many reports of sexual harassment/ sexual assault towards women in Harrow were made in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

6) How many reports of spiking women (drink or injection) were there in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022?

I look forward to receiving your response within 20 working days. If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits, please provide advice and assistance, under your Section 16/Section 15obligations, as to how I can refine my request to be included in the scope of the Act.

If you can identify other ways in which my request could be refined please provide further advice and assistance to indicate this. If you have any queries please don’t hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to clarify what I am asking for.
