Dear West Midlands Police and Crime Panel,
Can you please forward me the numbers of drivers convicted (i.e. resulting in a 12 month driving ban or alternatives) of drink driving who provided a verified sample of 41 micrograms (mg) of alcohol per 100ml of breath or less in the past 2 years?
Following my drink driving awareness course, now completed, the members could not believe that I was on the course. Following examples, I should have bee offered a blood test but wasn't. Hence, I believe my conviction for drink driving is not safe. I am currently fighting my conviction to save my business and my house. The offence was May 2019, it took until March 2021 to be convicted. I received the minimum sentence of 12 month ban reduced by 12 weeks. I was harassed by a marked car in February 2020. I made a formal complaint but this was dismissed despite hard evidence to the contrary. In the meantime, I clocked up 2500 hours voluntary time as an NHS volunteer. I sued WM Police in 2004 for wrongful arrest. I have my requested records showing my parents and my previous work details, as well as my apparently having fingerprints taken. This is false.
A 5 year span was previously requested to West Midland Police but was declined due to the lack of availability of information/figures and the resources required. I am being victimised by the Police
I look forward to your accurate and concise response,
