Why was the case dropped

The request was refused by Crown Prosecution Service.

Dear Crown Prosecution Service,

On 21/10/20, members of the Cotswold Hunt were filmed allowing their hounds to chase and kill a fox cub. The CPS has dropped the case. My questions relate to this case.

1) Was the case dropped because of lack of evidence?

2) What was wrong with the evidence presented?

3) What other evidence would the CPS expect to have in order to prosecute?

4) Was the case dropped for any other reason? If so, what were the reasons?

Yours faithfully,

Pip Donovan
