Dear Transport for London,

Cannon Street TUBE station has signs indicating that people should "Keep right". Almost all other tube stations are "Keep left" so people will default to that. Any signs indicating a change in use would need to be prominently placed to disrupt the expected direction, however signage is poor.

For example 'Keep right' signs at the top of the stairs leading down to Platform 1 are on the right hand side of the stairs but ignored because people head left.

• How was it determined that Cannon Street tube should be "Keep right?"
• How were the signs' locations determined?

The station was modernised and expanded 10 years ago and no request was
received then or since to change the directional flow of customers around
the station.
