Who is responsible for the money allocated to projects like the tapestry building and buying the tapestry

The request was successful.

Dennis John Sharkey

Dear Scottish Borders Council,
I would like to know who and why the money was spent on the tapestry when the public were not totally informed. Also the waste of Borderers money on a waste project that never fruitalised. Also why was the roads never upgraded

Yours faithfully,

Dennis John Sharkey

Dear Mr Sharkey

Please could I ask for some clarity with regards to your email below.

1. I would like to know who and why the money was spent on the tapestry when the public were not totally informed - could you clarify if you would like information regarding the process of approving the tapestry project?
2. The waste of Borderers money on a waste project that never came to fruition - can you confirm that this is the Easter Langlee project and that you require information regarding the decision to not go ahead?
3. Why was the roads never upgraded - please could you clarify if this question relates specifically to the decision to reinstate the railway rather than upgrade the roads?

Once I have received the requested clarification I will log your FOI requests.

Yours sincerely

The council are public servants, they are obliged to answer your questions. You never will get a true freedom of information request......freedom of misinformation more like.... anyway. They would like to clarify what the public want to know!

Who decided against the public's wishes to invest 3m of (struggling businesses and struggling family's) tax payers (public services) funds into a tapestry project which is nothing more than a ponzi scheme run by the council ( who claim to make £0 profit per year).

Please could you provide the clarity requested below so that I can process your enquiry?

Dear Freedom of Information,

It's very simple I have asked who is responsible for the money allocated for rail, tapestry, waste, etc also rather than hitting me with all this internet jargon and was all in the borders ie me and you and all that live here given any notification on these matters as I can certainly say I knew nothing about the waste debacle or the amount of money the tapestry involved rail I knew about but total waste of our money

Yours sincerely,

Dennis John Sharkey
