Who is responsible for carrying out the legally required Fire Risk Assessments on a multiple building.

Roedd y cais yn rhannol lwyddiannus.

Susan Anne Marie Stalsberg

Dear Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service,

Under the FOI act could you please provide the following information.

Who is responsible for taking out the legally required (every 2/3 years) Fire Risk Assessments on a Grade Two listed Multiple building? The building consists of 22 private apartments over 4 floors not including the basements?

The building has a resiential property management company (ran by two directors) who source out responsibilty for all of the maintainence on the building to an acting agent.

What action would be taken out if a Fire Risk Assessment had not been taken out on said building in over 20 years?

For the obvious Health and Safety reasons, how do Liverpool City Council/yourselves monitor the legally required FRA on hundreds/thousands of multiple buildings within Liverpool in order to keep all of the residents who live in these multiple buildings safe?

Who is actually responsible for monitoring the legally required Fire Risk Assessments on multiple buildings?

Yours Sincerely
S.Stalsberg
