White Helmets, Syria

The request was partially successful.

Dear Department for International Development,

Lord Ahmad has admitted funding armed groups in Syria ( aka terrorists) https://twitter.com/VanessaBeeley/status...
What controls has DFID got to ensure funding is spent on its intended purposes and what proof have DFID of that ? Please provide that proof.
Which councils has DFID suspended support to ?
When Tatweer is mentioned, exactly which Tatweer group is meant and what is their website. How is it decided to use then as the arrangement for funding?

Yours faithfully,

Paul Price

Dear Department for International Development,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for International Development's handling of my FOI request 'White Helmets, Syria'.

Thankyou fonally for providing a proper response and I note that you have managed to delay this for months.

Please internally review the request. The public interest in releasing the information is huge. you have released zero proof. Many people believe with proof that the White Helmets are terrorists and that the UK government is thus involved in funding terrorism.
If you do not release the information it appears to be because you are hiding the fact that the UK is funding terrorism.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/w...

Yours faithfully,

Paul Price
